Biography
When I first started playing
guitar in my teens I really
never thought about the
serious pursuit of a career in
the music business. I figured
it might be fun to sit around
the house and play just for
me. I plucked on an old
sears guitar for a little while
until one day I decided that I
would never learn how to
play one of those things.

A few years later, in high
school, I discovered that
when I sang, people actually
enjoyed it! I was encouraged
(lured is more like it!) to
perform at a school function.
I was pretty shy in school
and the thought of singing
for a crowd, let alone my
friends, terrified me. After
that one song in front of a
few hundred people I was hooked. Suddenly, this was what I wanted to do more than anything else.

I bought a new guitar and shortly after high school I joined a local band. A few months of education on the
East Texas club circuit reaffirmed my belief that this was the coolest job anyone could possibly dream of. I
could actually make a career out of something that I would do for free!

Now, here I am. A few years older and still loving what I do. I've played for folks all over the country. I've
worked all day just to drive all night to do a show in some place I've never heard of, and still, every time I step
on stage, I get just as nervous and excited, and seem to have more fun every show. My new CD is the product
of the years I've spent doing what I love to do. Created out of the life I have lived and influenced by every
music lover I've ever met, this CD is truly a reflection of me. Thanks to all of you who have let me do this!
